Selling an AudioQuest Tornado High Variable Current Power Cable 2m 15 amp, New. I ordered
this item from The Music Room, TMR. It was then drop shipped directly from AudioQuest. I have
a copy of the invoice and original shipping box as proof. I upgraded to Hurricane PC's before ever
using this item and now no longer need it. The photos include a dated page to show the
manufacturer's original packaging was never opened until preparing to list it on Audiogon. This
was done so potential buyers could see the item and the fact it was never used or taken out of
the box. The is the newer parallel version allowing the cord to be more easily turned or bent.

I can't really answer your question bc, I don't have any experience with either one of the cables you're considering. The Tornado's I have are new and were never put into my system. Nor did I audition them. My plan was to purchase the "best" cables I could afford. Generally, I subscribe to the theory 'you get what you pay for'. I made my decision based on reading many reviews of professional reviewers and audiophiles alike. There will always be disagreement in this hobby, or pretty much on anything for that matter. What I can tell you is that I have been extremely happy with the Audioquest brand, and there was a difference between the Hurricanes and some cheaper cables that I had. Good luck with whatever your choice is! |
