I am selling my beloved Peachtree Nova 125se. It has just been serviced by Peachtree and I was told it has a one-year warranty.
This is one of the finest fully integrated amplifiers you can buy, including a DAC with optical and USB inputs. It received excellent reviews, including the vaunted Stereophile Class B rating in 2015.
"Pics don't do it justice!" is an oft-repeated platitude but seriously, this thing is gorgeous, and catches the eye as soon as you walk into the room. The finish is reminiscent of a stringed instrument. It makes any setting classier. It is in really terrific condition other than two small, faint scratches on the right side, both about the size of a dime. The finish is otherwise perfect.
The sound is tremendous. It is definitely on the warm/laid back side, which I prefer: zero sibilance and nonfatiguing to listen to for extended periods. Don't mistake that for a boring listen though, it's very engaging, a "rock-out" amp. Imaging and definition are superb. Unlike some of the thinner British-sounding amplifiers this has no problem with bass weight.
It's also incredible for movies. Dialogue and sound effects are jarringly real. Having the ability to add and subtract the tube from the circuit is really cool, it definitely comes in handy for certain recordings although since I use this with ALACs I generally leave it off and the tube should have plenty of life left.
The 125 watt rating is quite conservative. I pair this with fairly demanding bookshelves (Paradigm Studio 10 v.5) and I barely ever push the volume knob past 9 o'clock; it starts at ~7. This would probably pair great with Maggies.
Includes remote and power cable, and I can throw in USB or optical cabling if you need it. $950 plus $50 for shipping and handling. $900 for delivery in eastern MA. Ships CONUS only.
