EMIA Silver Step Up Transformer

No reserve auction. Original owner; 3 years old. EMIA step up transformer, silver version, custom made by David Slagle. It truly is an artisanal product and this one is wound with 0.9999 pure silver. This is a 1:40 SUT and was made specifically for a Transfiguration Proteus cartridge (low gain and very low internal impedance) and has XLR inputs and RCA outputs (if your tonearm is not XLR terminated, and are interested, I can offer winning bidder a premium pair of new Cardas Audio CGA Clear Male XLR to Female RCA Adapters for an additional $100 to the winning bid; retail price of these adapters is $200). Based on cosmetics, I rated this SUT a 8/10 due to a small chip on top back corner (this was actually present when brand new) and a slight amount of paint loss on the front edges; see pics. This is an extremely musical, smooth sounding and detailed SUT.  Selling due to purchase of new phono preamp that can handle very low output cartridges.
