The Audio
Research Reference 75SE is one of the highly rated tube amplifiers on the
market today. The tube complement
includes two matched pairs of KT150 power tubes and a pair of 6H30s as the drivers.
The amp is a fully balanced design and has only balanced inputs. This is a current production 75SE that I
purchased in December 2017. I will
include my invoice from the dealer to document this fact. The unit has a 3-year warranty, but it is to
the original purchaser. In the unlikely
event that warranty work is needed, I will be happy to be the liaison between
the new buyer and AR to handle the warranty repair. The unit will also come as new with a
12-gauge power cord, a pair of white cotton gloves, extra fuses, extra cover
screws, its original box and manual.
Why am I
selling you may wonder? Shortly after I
received the amp, which mated beautifully with my Sonus Faber Evolution
speakers, I purchased a pair of Focal Sopra No. 3 speakers. Unfortunately, these speakers need more than
75 watts to achieve their potential, thus the sale. Paypal is the preferred method of payment and
I will cover the fees. Unfortunately due
to my recent experiences with forged bank checks from A’gon buyers, payment by
check or money order will delay shipment until check clears the bank
clearinghouse (10 working days)- sorry.

Thank you for your interest in my AR REF 75 amp. I had the amp in my system for about 3 months- December through February. I typically listen about 1-2 hours most days of the week, so I would estimate in has between 100 - 200 hours on the amp. I used a set of tubes from Upscale Audio during that time, but am selling the amp with the tube set which came with the amp from AR. These tubes have not been used. Hope this helps.
