Rare opportunity to pick up this rarely seen and like new Pass Labs stereo amplifier. This is an amazing amp to drive just about anything with an iron grip but also tube-like finesse especially on female vocals. TO DIE FOR. Easily the best stereo amp I've heard and like having a giant SET tube amplifier but FAST and with balls and a layered, 3D soundstage both coming out into the room in front of speakers and into the room. This amp enables CRAZY imaging - I literally had images wrapping almost around me and 10 feet outside the speakers with locktight location! With the Magico S3MK2's i got to a place where you can reproduce the listening hall like nothing I've ever heard before. Tangible, palpable imaging with tight, textured powerful BASS. Sounds absolutely amazing on everything from Jazz to female vocals to PsyTrance. Amp is in like new, perfect condition and of course that amazing Pass sound. Original boxes, manual. | What PASS preamp do you recommend with this amp? Sorry I don't have experience with PASS pre's as I've run direct with Bricasti M1SE. I have a friend who had the 30 and loved it on his 160.8's but I'd reckon they all would work well together. This amp is great out of the box but is so incredibly transparent that any small improvement on the front end will be clearly audible, whether preamps, power cables, IC's etc. |
