The VK-P6SE is the step down from the VK-P12SE flagship phono stage from BAT. The VK-P6SE benefits from trickle down theory in its adoption of the special edition gain stage and six pack oil filled capacitors found in the VK-P12SE which is double the price. This is great value and a top performer. It is an engineering masterpiece in design and performance. The VK-P6SE design allows it to store energy much like the REX II pre amplifier, using the same components, to deliver much needed power to the unit when required. The unit delivers clarity, pace, timbre and dynamics in highs mids and lows. The quality of the mid bass is particularly noticeable as is the richness of the tone in general.

The unit has less than 150 hours of use because it shared use with my other phono stage. I am the original owner. The unit is clean and well maintained.
