KEF XQ-1

I will ship these beautiful Reference Quality KEF XQ-1 Monitors to all 50 U.S. states and Canada for actual of shipping  cost plus a small fee for materials and time.  Feel free to come to Madison to listen to or pick them up.   I may nbe able to meet you or drive to you within an hour of Madison.  
I have absolutely loved these speakers and am only trying to sell them because I know don't even have room for monitors on stands.  I will probably be looking for some bookshelf speakers I can integrate into a small condo room.

I get so many comments on the striking looks of the speakers and I feel they look very classy and outstanding in the bright orangy red.  Sonically they are somewhat comparable to other classic British Monitors but I have always been a fan of KEF because they are efficient (except for the Reference 101 at 84 db)  and have a neutral, not too forward sound that is articulate and doesn't try and make anything sound like it is not.  I think they are more forward than say B&W but still very smooth and I feel these are a bit more reveling.  The Super tweeter is also very smooth and not at all rigging or harsh.  It does it job increasing the high frequency response but you don't even realize it is there except it is a stunning addition to the overall aesthetics IMO.
I love the shape of the XQ-1 the most and the chrome feet push out at an angle that really set off the curves at the bottom of the speaker.  They are adjustable and have a neat system of sitting on the stands using a rear clamp to hold the back foot and two indents in the stand top for the two other feet to rest in.  
These also make a wonderful addition to a home theater system as front or side speakers and if you have the larger XQ's or a center channel you must complete the set up with XQ-1's as side speakers.
