UltraVerve Remote, pricing from January 2010-January 1018 averaged $1,435.00 for the 10 units sold. I've dropped the price $100- this baby sounds as good as the UV3, and I have them both (can't honestly tell them apart) and waaay more meat on these bones than most others in this price range.  The Joule Electra was similar in its vibe. It's just a stupid simple, great design that aims to please,...no BS, it will not disappoint.

DeHavilland Ultraverve Original preamp comes with $500 optional remote
control version, black face-plate and red lettering. It is in good
cosmetic condition but has one very tiny nick on the left edge and
another on the top of the face-plate.Operation perfectly. Zero feedback,
all octal tube design employing point to point wiring for ultimate in
signal purity, and is very detailed and transparent...Kara Chaffee is a
brilliant and talented designer indeed. Also mute section has been
bypassed for increased signal purity. Remote battery cover is broken so it's taped, simple up/down volume control, mute non-functional as described. Comes w/some great NOS tubes, plenty of life left. 1-Sylvania 6sn7 GTB, a Motorola 5AW4, & 2-Sylvania 6AH4 GT's. 2nd owner, Shipping contiguous US only, Pay Pal or USPS money order preferred, buyer picks up all Pay Pal (3%) and shipping costs. No original box, but I have double boxed and have secured with Styrofoam on corners from another unit, it's a solid pack.
