From the collection of a long-time friend comes this rare Entec SW-1 subwoofer complete with built-in amplifier and Entec electronic crossover, plus connecting and AC cables. Considered to be one of the best subwoofers ever built, this unit was designed by Keith Johnson and Demian Martin of Spectral Audio and is in excellent working condition. At some point in its history, there were a number of upgrades, including the L2F WAX amplifier mod and replacement of the vertical brace with a horizontal one.
The original foam covers are gone and there are extremely minor blemishes on the pin-striped veneer. On the back, the amplifier plate has a few small scratches. The exposed, non-veneered surfaces have been refinished and, overall, the unit looks quite handsome, with no distracting marks.
The original instructions, including those for the L2F WAX mod, are included and spare 10" drivers, stripped from a parts unit, are available at additional cost.
