I am the second owner of this pair, purchased used from original owner and fellow A'gon member in March of this year. I drove 2 hours to fetch them and it was well worth the trip.
Consecutive serial # 11074A & 11075A. According to Vandersteen these were manufactured around 2003/2004.
NOTE: The cables shown in the photos are bi-wire Anticables with "Vandersteen spades" on the speaker connections, bananas on the amp connections. Vandersteen spades are smaller than your basic, standard spades, and they're included in the sale. Obviously, so are the Sound Anchor stands. Owners manual & associated reviews etc. as well.
I won't be shipping these, either. Number one, they're HEAVY. Number two, they’re HEAVY.
Current Bluebook Average is $2200, with some recent sales topping that.
Some nicks and imperfections on the wood bases, and the cloth socks could use, but don't immediately require replacement. I called Vandersteen and the pair of socks would cost the new owner about $150 - there's even a Youtube video documenting how to do it if you're so inclined. I wasn't, and I didn't - they look fine from any listening distance.

Local pickup only. THESE ARE HEAVY AND SO ARE THE SOUND ANCHOR STANDS! They are located on the first floor of my house, so getting them out is pretty easy. Two steps up, two steps down, voila! Bring blankets to protect them, bring a large enough vehicle to accommodate them. (They fit fine in my Outback wagon when I picked them up.) VERY WORTH THE WHILE OF PICKING THEM UP - THESE ARE ONE OF THE BEST BUYS YOU CAN MAKE IN LOUDSPEAKERS.
