Conrad Johnson Premier 12 Mono Tube Amps w/ C1 Teflon Cap Upgrade (L@@K)

Excellent condition, consecutive serial numbered, pair of classic mono tube amps from Conrad Johnson. Updated (2016) with CJ factory Teflon caps upgrade (not after market Teflon V-caps, but CJ spec’ed/supplied Teflon caps), a $3290 value. Currently using KT88 output tubes, but 6550s and KT120s can also be used with simple rebiasing on the amps. The plastic screwdriver for biasing is included, tube dampening rings, as well as manual copy and excellent condition tube cages. New factory boxes were purchased at time of Teflon cap upgrade and I picked up the amps, thus like new. Rated at 140 WPC and can also be reconfigured for triode operation. Front panels are clean and free of any dings or scratches. These amps have the classic C-J sound most prefer. Same era as Premier 8As and Premier 11A. I have a glut of high end gear, thus the sale. Also, will throw in several extra driver tubes and four 6550 output tubes. Rated 8/10 to conform to Audiogon listing guidelines. Each amp will be double boxed for added safety.
