I bought this wonderful phono preamp brand new from Kevin at Upscale Audio. Not sure of the purchase date but the Steelhead was shipped to Upscale in October 2014, so it was definitely after that (see the shipping label in the photos). I paid him $7800.00 as I recall. About 1 1/2 years ago, I replaced the tubes with Gold Lions from Upscale. On the power supply, there is a very small smudge which I tried to photograph but it doesn't show up that well. On the unit itself, there are some light swirl marks which do show up in the photos. These are not scratches per se as they don't go through to the metal. Otherwise, I would say this preamp is in mint condition. I will ship it to the buyer via FedEx Ground. I have the original box which is also in mint condition. Remote, power cord and manual are in the box.
