DESCRIPTION

Selling my pair of Dunlavy Audio Labs (DAL) Signature Series SC-V Speakers. They sound absolutely beautiful and are certainly some of the best speakers ever produced. To this day the SC-5's are used by recording engineers around the world in their studios to mix the music we listen to.

This pair of SC-V's are in excellent condition and have always been well cared for. All drivers are in perfect condition and the speakers accept bi-wiring an bi-amping.

The SC-V is a 4-way, 7-speaker tower using a 1st order crossover to ensure narrow dispersion, patented phase and dispersion correction. The vifa drivers and sealed enclosure, is said to be "designed to reproduce the amplifier's electrical signal as closely as possible."

The inputs are heavy-duty, bi-wired five-way binding posts. The speakers include the matching floor-mount light oak veneer pedestals.

Each SC-V features: dual 12-inch woofers, dual 7-inch low-mids, dual 3-inch high-mids, and a single 1-inch silk-dome tweeter and weights 305 pounds each...330 with bases. Their frequency response is down 3 dB at 22 Hz and 24 kHz, measured on-axis at 12 feet. Nominal impedance is 3 ohms. Original Retail Price: $16,995/pair.

DEFICIENCIES

The light oak veneer is becoming unglued in some places but it is unnoticeable unless you pull at it. It could simply be re-glued if needed.
The corner of 1 speaker grill cloth has come unglued
