Amazingly overbuilt preamp with great phono (+$2k option) and beautiful aluminum
remote (+$250) included. It is in minty shape, really no blemishes at all that I
can see. Looks stunning. Phono is currently set to 60db gain but other
user-adjustable resistors (no soldering necessary--you simply insert
them into socket on phono boards) of 40dB and 50dB included. Also, phono
loading is currently set to 1000 ohms but resistors (installed same way
as gain) are included for 100 and 499. You can also go online and buy
resistors for any other value you like. I have original box and packing,
manual, literature, and stickers to re-label the inputs. I will also
include a nice new thick (14AWG) power cord.
I will cover domestic insured ground and paypal fee.
Feel free to ask any questions or submit any offers and I'll do my best...
thanks!

Not a question, but just wanted to point out that this is a beautiful piece of audio equipment. Was not familiar with it until seeing this. I wish I was in the market. But that doesn’t stop me from admiring its beauty! Indeed. Not just outside but inside, too. Specifically the effort they put into this completely overbuilt motorized volume control...it's the kind of thing you just don't see everyday...not the easy way out for sure! |
Hi, my comment is in addition to the last gentleman’s admiration of your
K-1. I haven’t listened to the K-1 since 2003 -2004 ( or there a Bouts). In those days money went to houses and cars and $7,000 was a big number for a preamp (it still is). It was on my wish list. It is a terrific pre by itself, but with the phono add it makes a very sweet front end for $2995. Someone is going to add a good chunk of vintage Charlie Hanson to their system. I wish you luck in your sale. Thanks, I agree! For a full function preamp (with elegant remote) it’s hard to beat... |
