Vintage Art - Restored Kenwood 700M Supreme Power Amplifier

The king of the jungle, period. This exceptional piece of vintage hardware has had the following replaced:
** Grey textured, satin finish, powder coated sheet metal top, bottom, and fascia plate behind logo glass
** ALL transistors
** ALL diodes (silicon diodes upgraded for higher voltage and current handling capability)
** ALL capacitors (main filter caps upgraded from 22,000uF, to 47,000uF and low current PS caps upgraded from 1000uF, to 3300uF. Both pairs bypassed with film caps)
** ALL resistors (with the exception of the two wired to the headphone jack. Power resistors bumped to the next step up in wattage handling capability.)
** All fuses and bulbs
** ALL relays
** Prerequisite Deoxit of all switches and pots except ... volume pots are factory sealed with no access holes for spray nozzle. Keeps the dust and dirt out.

I don't really know what more to say other than this unit is aesthetically !!!clean!!! (understated elegance) and electronically quiet, powerful, extended (freqs) and restored for the long haul. It really speaks for itself quite eloquently. If you can find a better sounding 700M, buy it...but you won't find one.

Fine print:

There are no returns for the unit because I cannot be guaranteed that the unit won't be dropped, cross-wired and shorted, liquid spilled in it, or whatever user error. What I will however guarantee, is that at the time of pickup/shipping, the unit will have no static, cracks, pops, hums, etc., every switch/knob will work as designed, and that the unit will sound cleaner than the day it rolled off the assembly line.
