Produced by McIntosh between 1968 and 1978, the C26 preamplifier has some unique features, including the phase switch and the center channel output, which are located in a recess at the top of the unit at the front. It was also the first McIntosh preamplifier to have an all-glass front panel.

About this unit
Fair-to-good condition trade-in vintage McIntosh C26 Stereo Preamplifier. Preamp comes in original inner box with original Service Information booklet, original Product Brochure, printed (not original) owner' manual, and original power cord. An (non-original) outer box will be added for secure shipping.

Unit is rated 6/10 for cosmetic imperfections consistent with age (see photos). There is one broken speaker jack (on the rear panel - see photo), which does not affect functionality as a preamplifier, but would need to be repaired in order to use the speaker switching feature (located on the front panel).
