These 1 meter NORDOST VALKYRJA BALANCED INTERCONNECT cables are NEW.

A recent inventory at Nordost discovered an unused reel of Valkyrja cable. They did the practical thing: convert into 1 meter interconnects.

Valkyrja is the predecessor of Nordost’s current Frey series.

This pair will ONLY include the cables – no packaging of any kind.

Nordost's Valkyrja interconnects use the company's proprietary Teflon Micro Monofilament design to produce small-diameter tube-like interconnects that are very flexible. Valkyrja's design uses the Teflon Micro Monofilament construction which made its debut with the renowned Vahalla cables.

Valkyrja interconnect cable is eye-catching. Each positive/negative run has 28 22-gauge eight-nines copper conductors over which 60 microns of high-purity silver are extruded. A Teflon monofilament is then wound around each of the conductors, after which the bundled conductors are encapsulated in .5mm of FEP Teflon, which gives the cables their lavender hue.

This painstaking process reduces the capacitance, inductance, DC resistance, and dielectric constant of the cables, improving their ability to carry the audio signal. The patented extrusion process and Micro Monofilament technology are proprietary to Nordost.

The electrical properties of Valkyrja are "extremely low," allowing the cable to pass the signal at 94% of the speed of light.

This cable originally sold for $2000.00 per 1 meter pair in the U.S.
