Shunyata Venom MPC-12C Power Distributor with Hydra-SSF Feet New in Box

The MPC-12C is unopened, brand new in box. The feet have been opened to photograph, but have not been used and are new in the box as well (see photos). The MPC-12C is $2,495 retail and the SSF feet retail for $200 and over 20% off savings goes to you. The 12C is specifically designed for use with computer or media based systems to safely isolate your analog equipment from the computer audio noise. Does not include 20 amp power cable for the conditioner, that is always sold separately.

The VENOM MPC-12C is a ‘Media Power Center’ designed specifically for computer-based audio, video and music-server based systems. Computer media based entertainment systems use several digital or processing components associated with computers (music servers). These devices are often made with commodity ‘switching’ power supplies that put out significant amounts of power line noise. The MPC-12C is designed specifically to segregate or ‘firewall’ the computer and peripheral related components — preventing them from contaminating the performance of your high-end analog components.

The MPC-12C is the ideal choice for computer or media server based systems. The MPC-12C (Media Power Center) has 12 outlets divided into two banks of six each.  Zones separate analog and computer related components. The “C” designation stands for ‘computer’ although it could also be used in all types of entertainment systems. Two separate isolated zones are labeled ‘Computer Components’ and ‘A/V Components’ on the top of the unit.

In terms of its system-specific design and function, the MPC-12C is the most finely-tuned power distributor from Shunyata Research.  Essentially, the MPC-12C contains two separate power conditioners starting from the power inlet. In section one, The MPC-12C uses the CCI™ (Component-to-Component Interference) filter arrays to reduce noise and enhance performance while still allowing for maximum current-delivery to even the most power hungry amplifiers. The ‘Computer Component’ side of the MPC-12C employs a custom, hand-wound, air-core, coil that literally fire-walls components preventing them from affecting the audio related components that are plugged into the A/V Section. 

For more traditional analog, audio systems – the VENOM MPC-12A offers 12 outlets and noise reduction capabilities in an all-analog design.
