This is NOT a stereo amp.  It's a single channel monoblock that I used as a center channel amp to match my modified Rev A Platinum Stereo McCormack amps.

While it works perfectly as a center channel amp, this amp is actually more suited for those looking for a used DNA .5 to send to Steve for his state-of-the-art modifications and turn into a stereo amp once again (or match with another DNA.5 for monoblocks).

I've owned countless McCormack products throughout the last 30 years including several modified amps.  The great thing is that you only have to buy them retail once, and they can be updated as your budget and performance needs demand.  This monoblock was previously upgraded around the year 2000 to be Rev A Gold and additional things were added to make it a monoblock.

Unlike buying a used DNA .5 with no prior mods, this amp has many things that will still be applicable and not need to be changed.  For example, the Plitron transformer alone in this amp is worth it and will still be applicable if you send it to Steve to get the latest modifications and updated driver board.  (Based on my experience with his other modifications, I can recommend modifications to choose on this amp if you decide to send it to Steve.)

If you just want to use it as a center channel amp as I did, that's fine too.  It's a bit overkill with I believe almost 400 watts in mono form.  However, the main reason I would recommend having it updated is that most amps with the stock driver board are nearing their useful life.  Thus, it's something that will have to be replaced at some point.  Plus, you really need to hear the latest mods Steve has created since the early 2000s.  I've had all my other amps updated, but really don't need this one anymore, so that's why I'm selling.

I don't need to sell it or anything, so no low ball offers.  It's priced fairly as is and you can contact Steve to confirm this. Most used DNA .5 without any existing mods go for around the same price, so this one is much better canvas to start with the Plitron, upgraded caps, and an XLR input.

If this amp gets modified to 2018 standards by Steve and converted back to a stereo amp, you're talking about an amp that would compete with almost anything and retail for over $20k if in a dealership.  Even in it's early 2000s form, you can see a parts cost in excess of what many of these ripoff $50k amps sell for today.

I attached pics of the internals and externals.  You can ask any questions and also contact Steve about this amp.  I can ship it direct to Steve if you are buying this for modification purposes.
