Monitor Audio Silver 3i

Beautiful pair of well maintained and used Monitor Audio Silver 3i bookshelf speakers in cherry finish. I am the second owner and have had them for about 8 years, all of which have been a pleasure in listening enjoyment.These speakers were purchased from Audiogon. I also have a pair of Monitor Audio Silver 9i floorstanders so I really don't need these any more. They come with a pair of Plateau F Series speaker stands if you want them that are currently filled with small rocks for weight dampening. Words that describe the sound of these speakers: very transparent, quick and articulate, precise, fast & tight bass, wonderful imaging, very easy to listen to/non-fatiguing, high build quality. All of this is absolutely true! These really shine when listening to female vocals in a small-medium sized room. These are not rock-and-roll speakers, as they lack lower end kick. There are some small scratches on the top of one of them. They also have original grills which are in good shape, but I don't use them as they sound and look much better without.
