Selling 1 Von Schweikert Audio LCR-15 speaker in Dark Cherry Serial # 0276
LCR stands for Left/Center/Right. It is magnetically shielded, and can be used on their bottoms or standing up like a monitor.
In great mechanical condition. Was used as a rear surround but changed to a lower profile speaker to fit new theater chairs. The dark cherry wood is in great condition but I rated it a 7/10 because the bottom has a few scratches from being slid in and out of shelves. The scratches don't show up much in normal lighting but I used a flash as to not "hide" anything and the flash makes them look much worse than they really are. If it wasn't for those scratches they would easily be an 8 or 9.
I am the original owner. This LCR 15 was used in my smoke free, pet free, sunlight free home theater. Ships in the original box and includes velvet bag and speaker grill.

Specs are as follows:
Shielded three-way full range dialogue/general purpose speaker system. One woofer is used for bass only, while the second woofer is used for midbass and midrange frequencies. Audyssey room calibration confirms play down below the 40hz range.
Aperiodic Pressure Release design using 100% stuffing density. Note that the rear ports are not bass reflex ports, but act as pressure release orifices. Can be placed inside a cabinet.
2, 5.5" heavy- duty bass/mids with cast frame, cellulose acetate pulp cones impregnated with mica substrate and damped with a carbon fiber/resin polymer, Low Distortion Motor system, butyl rubber surrounds, long throw spider, high temperature voice coil and magnetic shielding
1, 1" - composite silk/polymer resin dome with Ferrofluid liquid cooling, high temperature voice coil, Low Distortion Motor design, and magnetic shielding.
Global Axis Integration Network (synthesized steep-filters with phase-consistent behavior) with 300 Hz and 2.2 kHz crossover points. This crossover design has been engineered to radiate sound in a wide "bubble" instead of a "beam," so that phase and frequency response does not radically change off-axis. The finest parts have been hand selected, including polypropylene capacitors and premium air core inductors.
High quality audiophile five-way binding posts with rhodium plating.
Free air: 60 Hz-20 kHz +/- 2dB (free air in my room I was seeing sub 40hz response at reference level and Audyssey was actually pulling bass out to balance it!)
Baffled mounting (inside equipment cabinet): 32 Hz-20 kHz 88 dB @ one watt/one meter anechoic, 91 dB measured in room with boundary gain.
8 watts min., 200 watts peak. 8 ohms nominal
28 lbs packed for shipping, 20 lbs raw.
17.5" Wide x 10.25" Deep x 7.5" High (horizontally placed).
