Krell KSP-7b MINT

The capacitance was also increased 30%. Not only is this preamp considered one of the best bargains in the audiophile community it also produces amazing sound and is renown for its fantastic MC/MM phono section which truly rivals some of the overpriced separate phono units selling for $3000+! The phone section was upgraded with .1% PRP metal film resistors, which are very transparent and quiet. This is one of the rare 7B's, in that it came with the Spectrol precision sealed volume control( $500 retail ) which along with the balance control and switches were cleaned and lubricated. The service on this preamp and PS was performed 8/18 by Avatar Engineering ($490). This beauty is like new cosmetically and plays better than new sonically.
