- Dependable Bryston 80 Watt/ channel power amp with newer Bryston faceplate.
- In Jan. 2015 amp was serviced at Bryston repair center in Vermont and I paid for a full overhaul/ update of all internal components to bring the unit in spec as new. Repair tech told me the would be good to go for another 20 plus years.
- I've also owned the 3B amp and the family resemblance is strong...punchy, dynamic, energetic, crystal clear sound, fast transients, superb resolution and good soundstage. At the time of the update,
- Bryston also custom made me a then current faceplate, which as seen in the photos looks beautiful on a rack. This is not the ugly duckling look of 2B-LP amp with the cooling fins on the front of the amp.
- It will be shipped in an excellent shape Bryston shipping box with original blue foam packing inserts. No manual, but straight forward installation, just mind that the rear toggle switch stays in stereo mode after you hook up your speaker cables.
