VTL ST-85 Fantastic amp with Mundorf caps!

Here is a VTL ST-85 power amplifier. Please see the photos for the excellent cosmetic condition. There is a 3/4" scratch in the paint on the bottom cover. There are 2 tiny ( under .5 mm ) marks on the top edge of the front panel that will not show in a photo they are so small. This is a 2 owner unit. Production date is the 44th week of 1997. This is the mid series version that does not include a triode/tetrode switch. The amp does have a full set of Mundorf output coupling capacitors. Cost of the caps was over $200. The EL-34s are Russian made Svetlanas with approx 250 hours of use. All 4 12ATs are JAN Phillips. This amp was used in rotation with several other VTLs and has seen moderate use for the last 10 years. It plays like new. I will shoot a short video of the unit in operation for the buyer. It holds bias like a champ and all output resistors test perfect. This is a used power amplifier and carries NO warranty of any kind. It will not arrive DOA because it works. Local pick up is OK. If you are local I will even bring it to you. The amp will weigh in at 44 lbs boxed. Original packing is not included but the amp will be properly packed and boxed for safe transport.
