Bryston BP-25da

PRICE REDUCED - Bryston BP-25DA offered for sale, in very clean condition from a non-smoking home. This unit has been used gently, daily since purchased in 2009, date code 0418, serial number 253236. The only flaw is a couple of very faint scratches on the top which are so faint that they cannot be seen in the photos; there are no nicks or marring anywhere on any other surface of the preamplifier, power supply, or remote, all included in the box.
This unit has an extremely high-quality built-in DAC, which allows direct connection of two digital sources by coaxial input. I will provide (2) 1-meter Mogami Gold interconnects if you purchase both this preamplifier and the 3B-ST amplifier I have also listed.   
Description: Full-function, transformer-input preamplifier with remote control for volume, mute, and phase. Inputs: four pairs of RCA unbalanced inputs, two pairs of balanced female XLR inputs, two coaxial digital inputs. Outputs: two pairs single-ended on RCA jacks, one pair balanced on XLR jacks, tape output on RCA jacks. Line Section: maximum output 15V unbalanced, 30V balanced. Distortion: <0.0025% at 3V output, IM or THD. Sensitivity: 500mV. S/N ratio: 100dB ref. 500mV unbalanced input, 20Hz-20kHz; 103dB ref. 11V balanced input, 20Hz-20kHz.   
DAC: Preamplifier provides a digital interface using state-of-the-art Digital to Analogue Converters on 2 switchable Stereo SPDIF inputs (RCA) and Bryston's fully discrete Class A operational amplifier sections. This Digital to Analog option provides a state of the art upgrade path for customers wanting to improve the digital capability of their stereo CD or DVD players. Simply plug the digital out from the CD/DVD player into the Bryston BP25 DA. The quality of sound using fully discrete operational amplifiers, rather than the typical IC's, has to be heard to be believed.   
The D to A and Bryston Discrete Operational Amplifiers are on an independent circuit board and is offered as an option on the BP25 Preamplifier.
