For Sale is an excellent condition Acurus A125x5 by Mondial.
If you're looking at this, then you probably already heard of this beast. If you don't know, this is an overbuilt amplifier, made in is the USA, and pumping closer to 200watts instead of 125watts. Sound is neutral and punchy. I compared this Acurus to several amplifiers at similar price points (B&K, Adcom, Parasound, Rotel, etc), and this baby came on top. And I don't think the big brother Aragon is worth the upgrade.

I would rate it 9/10, but due to the age, it is 8/10. As you can see from the pictures, it is very clean. No dings, no deep scratches. Just one tiny scratch on the top, and minor scuffs on the faceplate which kinda hard to capture with camera. The white stuff near the fins are dust, not scratches.
I do not have the original box, but I do have the original box and packaging for a200x3 (both inner and outer box). I'm willing to part with it as I don't think I ever sell my a200x3.
Also Selling is Anthem AVM-20 V2 with 2.21 software

| Since this has no trigger, I assume you would leave it on. Does it run hot? How long does it take to warm up if you turn it off? Hi,
I used the acurus a125x5 for the surround and back surround. My panamax conditioner had trigger switching (from anthem processor), so It went on and off with the anthem. It gets warm, but not anywhere near hot. It does not need warm up.
However, for the LCR speakers, Im using Acurus A200x3 and it is connected directly to the wall via Jasmine power cable. It picks up more dynamic and clarity doing it this way. So, I have to turn off and turn on manually each time. |
