This is the Limited Edition version with NOS Mullard EL84 x 4 and GEC 5751 blackplate x 2 - smooth, fast, detailed sound. Please do not mistake this CS300X with the CS300 or CS300XS version.

HISTORY OF THIS LEBEN: I am the third owner since I bought it in March. The 1st owner confirmed that he sporadically used the amp. I fully trusted his words given the minimal marks on the cabinet and front/back plate and acknowledging him being a reputable seller. I personally used it for less than 100hrs. I like testing gear, experimenting, etc. Under my ownership, the Leben spent most of its life in its orgiginal box, in a closet. I never rolled the tube, nor modified any part.

This amp is still in excellent condition and perfect working order. It comes with NOS Mullard EL84 tubes which have had low hours. All the knobs on the front panel are 24K gold-plated. Very little marks on the wooden cabinet (see pictures) - it can be easily fixed if it’s bother you. And it is one of the cutest-looking and most charming-sounding amps.

The CS-300X has five inputs, a tape monitor and a headphone output. It delivers 15 watts via a quartet of EL84 pentodes configured for push-pull operation. The driver stage consists of 2 x NOS 5751 dual triodes which are DC coupled to eliminate noise. The loudspeaker output also drives the headphone port - cans and speakers receive identical signals. The CS-300X has a unique bass boost control that operates via a simple cap/resistor circuit on the negative feedback loop as opposed to a separate, more complex circuit as commonly used. The amplifier is self- biasing via a cathode resistor which reduces noise so no periodic fiddling with a multi meter and screwdriver.
