for sale is a Brand New NOS NIB pair of UTC LS-35 series Output
Transformers for push pull EL34, 300B, or 2A3 tubes. This is possibly
the last remaining Brand New in the Box LS-35 pair in existence!

They
are made in U.S.A and true Hi-Fi wide band transformers. They were
never soldered to or mounted or used in anyway. They are potted in
beautiful Gray color sand cast enclosures. All coils are tested with a
LCR meter, and a signal generator with an oscilloscope. There is No Open
or Shorted turns in Primary and Secondary! It lives up to the UTC name
with very FLAT frequency response below 20Hz all the way to 20KHz.

UTC published frequency response is 7Hz to 50KHz with +1dB or -1dB for the entire bandwidth.

Model LS-35 output transformers are made with very special Hypermalloy
core and it's very linear within 1dB from 20Hz-20KHz (Cycles). They are
suitable for that dream push pull amps with EL34, 300B, 350B,
2A3/6A3/6B4G, 6L6, 6AS7G, 6080 tubes. This model is specially made by
UTC for EL34 push-pull amp with 43% screen taps for use with Class AB
feedback design. Each transformer is a very hefty LS3 case which weights
a little more than 15LBs. They are very rare and very seldom seen 35W
LS3 case potted transformers.

Primary impedance for Plate to
Plate 5000ohm with 43% screen taps. UTC has published a circuit for the
LS-35 transformer and I can provide the printout of the circuit.

Secondary has the usual 16, 8, and 4 ohms output impedance for the speakers (aka Voice Coil) use.

Of course, they were made here in the Good Old U.S.A!

Each transformer weights about 16lbs so there will be a total of 45LBs for shipping weight in a well packed double box package.
