This listing is for a vintage McIntosh C33 stereo preamplifier/integrated amplifier. This item has been tested and is in 100% operational condition. Both channels are clean and clear with no hum, buzz, noise, or distortion. All lamps and indicators are working and all switches and potentiometers are smooth and quiet.

I have been listening to this piece in my main system and find no faults. The C33 has a built in 20-watt per channel monitor amplifier (20 of the sweetest watts you have ever experienced) that sounds fantastic. You can connect a pair of speakers directly to the C33. I used a pair of B&W 804 D3 loudspeakers for testing with astonishing results. Also used McIntosh MC2250 power amplifier and Project RPM 10.1 EVO turntable for further testing. Audio reproduction is on par with some of the finest gear I have used. Certainly one of the superlative sounding preamps in the solid-state 1964 to 1987 series.

Cosmetic condition is very good with some minor signs of wear. This is also physically clean with no nicotine contamination. IMO much closer to 8/10 rating. Included will be a copy of the owner manual and a new McIntosh factory double box shipping carton with all internal packing for safe shipment.
