Outstanding preamp with premium parts. premium tubes. Dedicated standalone psu.  Original owner.   Dual mono volume control.  6 inputs (3 phono, 3 line). Very High quality (and very costly)  30 step Transformer Volume Control ( i remember  them being   silver and specially  made for Nick  by Brian Souter) . Note.most tvc are only 24 steps. Very high quality parts TFT etc.   Notes.1 blemish (scar) on  muting knob (see pictures).  small scratches here and there on gray  corian base. and  a few hairline scratches on  psu unit (black box) . Control unit  weighs about 25 lb. PSU about 30lb.  Excellent MC-FET stage means no step-up  necessay . Additional  (2) MM  inputs available.  Outstanding preamp that meets or exceeds audiophile necessities (transparency, frequency response, quietness, resolution, tonality, etc ) with  rarer qualities of musicality (!) and reliabilty(!!).  Nick is a great engineer and i could bet (  would probably win) that this preamp could go another 25 years without service. One of the best preamps  (from 200+) that i have owned and by far the most practical and reliable.  Reluctant sale as audio  is replaced with  other facets of life (small son, relocation to NM,  possible career change). i am including (2) extra 12at7  because they were near the unit and i dont know what to do with them.  Additioanally, I have lots of great tubes(fairly priced) for those who want to tube-roll. AUDITIONS IN NJ WELCOMED (feel free to bring yours to compare). NOTE. I also have  DOSHI-UPGRADED LECTRON JH50 AMP.
