The Aries is a streaming interface. The input is: ethernet, usb or 801.11n/ac. The output is toslink, coax, AES/EBU, or usb. With the downloadable Lightning software it streams from network, NAS, or computer. Lightning requires an Apple iPad or computer. Lightning is needed to set up Roon. I ran NAS and network over 801.11ac using Roon.
Runs Roon, Tidal, and a preset list of radio stations. See website for other streaming.
This model includes a low noise PSU.
