Sota Sapphire W/ Sumiko Premier FT- 3 Arm

I am selling this for the estate of a friend of mine, who has passed. I don't have much info. He had it stored in the original box. There are no feet, which is what I believe hold it together, so the base is free from the rest of the 'table. It looks like it might be missing a spring as well. It has a Sumiko Premier FT-3 tonearm, which looks in fine shape.. It has a Grado wood body cartridge, I don't know which Grado it is exactly, or how many hours it has on it. The motor does go on, the bearing seems smooth, I can't detect any chattering. The platter has a strange discoloration (see photos) and some checking.. Record clamp included. I'm rating this a 4/10, and I am selling it AS IS, w/ a low reserve, because I'm not savvy on the details of Sotas in general, and since it wasn't mine, I have no history. The money will be going to my friend's  widow. USA sales only. Shipping is a flat $100, fully insured, It's heavy.
