Lance Cochrane Mirror Imaged Twins

Custom, hand crafted, tube mono amplifiers. All hard wired. All hand tuned. You won't find a lot of Mono units with my signature on them. It's been about ten years since I've made monos but every once in a while everything falls into place for that. These are 25 watts each or 30, depending on if you use the supplied 5Y3 rectifiers or opt for 5U4/5AR4 types. The 5U4 sources more voltage and will have a higher output. 5U4g retains the coke bottle look. These are push pull 6L6 amps. All tubes included. That's a 12AT7, a pair of 12AU7, a pair of 6L6, and a 5Y3 for each unit. These are set to run softly so the tubes should last a very long time. The outputs are set for eight ohms currently but should the buyer desire, I'll change the output impedance setting to either four or sixteen ohms. The output transformers are vintage Fisher units with cloth covered wires. The outputs are tetrode. The Fisher output transformers don't have the Ultralinear option and I prefer tetrode anyway. I won't bore you with HiFi hyperbole about how these sound. They're my units. If you know my name you know how they sound. I put on Spanish Rice by Clark Terry and knew immediately that these were very cool units. I've had no reason to change that thought. As always, a completely unique unit, signed and dated.
