B&W (Bowers & Wilkins) DS7

B&W DS-7 dipole/monopole on-wall surround speakers.   

The DS7 offers a choice of both monopole and dipole operation, either via a switch located on the front baffle or remotely, using a 12V trigger from the surround processor. Some processors allow you to program the 12V trigger according to the type of material being played, so you can automatically switch between the two modes if desired.
In monopole mode, only the two drive units on the front face operate. In dipole mode, the front tweeter is disconnected; the two side firing drivers are brought into operation and the crossover frequency to the bass unit is lowered.
The side units are connected out of phase with one another, which creates a wedge-shaped null zone at right angles to the wall. If the listeners sit within this zone, they become less aware of the location of the speakers and hear a more reflected sound, which makes for a more naturally diffuse sound field.

I have had this pair for 3.5 years in an office setting on a shelf with a 4 channel hookup. I'm the second owner. The previous owner wasn't as gentle with these as I would have been but they are in very good condition. 
They have scratches on the back from the previous owner hanging and not using the rubber feet on the back. Paint flecks are on the bottom edge from being against the wall, again without rubber grommets. Sound quality is pristine and the grills are perfect.

If you're in Texas, we can discuss meeting halfway.  I'll charge a $100 fee to cover gas if we meet up half-way. I'm in Austin & San Antonio frequently, so no charge for meeting up in those cities.
