Hagerman Bugle Phono Preamp

The Hagerman Bugle is a high performance-per-dollar and well-reviewed solution to connect a medium to high output moving magnet or moving coil phono cartridge. The circuit topology uses three Burr-Brown 2134PA dual opamps to implement passive split equalization filters, and provide a low output impedance to drive interconnects. It’s in excellent condition, and 40dB was plenty of gain for the 3-5 mv MM cartridges I used it with. It uses a dual-mono design, and 9V batteries for clean power. The Opamps are in sockets, so you can swap them. Manual included. Up to a 18 VDC linear power supply could also be used. I used the circuit board, but you could also mount it in a small case. I’m selling because I have several phono preamps and I only need one.
