Linn Akurate 4200 Amplifier in Black (XLR-Balanced ONLY)

OPEN BOX LINN AKURATE 4200 FOUR CHANNEL CHAKRA POWER AMPLIFIER (THIS IS BALANCED, XLR ONLY UNIT ... 4 x 200 WATTS)

• this amp was ordered about 3yrs ago for rear channels in a client's home theatre (then client changed his system direction, deciding to go strictly two channel). As a result, the amp was opened and briefly used in an audition, but then re-boxed and has sat in the stock room ever since … now just been “found” after being hidden behind several large speaker boxes … this amp literally has no more than several hours of usage,
• the amp is absolutely mint, pristine “as new” condition (zero blemishes, scuffs, dents, dings, bumps or bruises) … it’s truly a 10/10 item, but I’m downgrading to 9/10 based solely on age,
• this amp is exclusvely a Balanced/XLR cabling interface and comes with two sets of UNOPENED Linn Black Analogue Balanced ICs at the standard Linn 1.2m (4ft length), along with it’s power cord and internal jumpers to more easily implement bi-amping and/or Aktiv applications (I’m happy to install them for the Buyer prior to shipping),
• the amp comes in it’s original factory packaging with the balance of Linn 5yr factory warranty (2yrs parts and labor coverage) … I’m selling this amp at WELL BELOW the wholesale cost as an offset for the reduced amount of warranty that remains),
• will consider offers, but the asking price is already at substantial loss, so please don't waste my time with absurd lowball offers,
• the amp is absolutely latest spec performance and cosmetics, with the double thickness metalwork chassis, Klimax style feet and the power button located underneath at the front of the unit,
• this product easily represents the best sonic value ever in Linn amplification, affording ability to bi-amp any passive speakers, or add additional Linn amplification to take Linn speakers Aktiv. Sonically, this amplifier is virtually indistinguishable from a Klimax Twin, so you’ve in essence got a pair of Twins in a single box (and at this price, it’s less than 1/6 the price of two Klimax Twins). In fact, it’s sonically superior bi-amping a speaker vs using single Klimax Twin. Here’s a rather exceptional opportunity to turn my senior moment of forgetfullness into your windfall.
