Hi,
I'm selling my dad's Fisher Heritage speakers. He purchased these when he first moved to California, in the early 1960's. It was either 1960 or 1961, he cannot recall the exact date.
These are 3-way speakers, and have a 12" bass, 5" mid-range, and a 3" tweeter.
The original price in 1961 was $129.50 each. In 2019 dollars this would be $1,088.12 each.
I upgraded my dad's home theater speakers in 2001 to 5.1 channel, and these speakers have been in his attic for the past 17 years, in two separate boxes. I found them when looking for something else.
Acoustically, they sound wonderful. There is some slight scratching when adjusting the tweeters, which I think is due to a potentiometer? Some scratches, nicks, and a water mark on both speakers. If desired, these can be sanded and refinished.
Also, my dad cared about these so much that he etched his drivers license into the metal back panel, in case they were stolen. I've intentionally blurred this in the pictures above.
The price is for the set of two.
Pickup only, due to the weight.
Thanks!
