VPI Classic 1

VPI Classic, first edition in black wood veneer. 10.5” JMW tonearm. Has the metal VPI cartridge alignment jig, Delrin record clamp, motor pulley belt, power cord and everything else that’s needed. Will also supply bearing grease and motor oil. Also comes with a Soundsmith Counter Intuitive. Does NOT have original box. As such, much prefer a local sale just because this thing is heavy and would likely require two heavy boxes to ship (the platter would require its own box, I think). For that reason, I’ll give a $100 discount to anyone who can pick this up in person (I’m in northern Virginia, 22102 zip code). The cartridge show in the photo is NOT for sale.

The Classic is easily the best turntable I’ve owned. There’s plenty of reviews out there singing its praises. Everything works perfectly and bearing and motor have been given their annual lubrication in the past month. Only selling because I’m upgrading and need something with a smaller footprint.
