PSB Synchrony One

Wonderful speakers, highly rated. In very good/excellent condition. I'd rate them 8/10 mostly because of their age and two pin-head size nicks on one side of a cabinet, about 7 years old. The sound is on the neutral side with a bass extension that is remarkable. 

Local pickup 60 miles north of San Francisco in wine country.  I'm willing to travel 30 miles to deliver.  I do not have the original boxes.

The Synchrony One was PSB's flagship speaker when these were purchased. It is a reflex-loaded, magnetically shielded, floor-standing design. It was rated Class A by Stereophile and also was top ranked by several other audiophile publications. Reviewers described it as a full-range speaker capable of delivering even the most technically refined and demanding recordings with unexcelled realism. The Synchrony One has an unusual five driver array, in which three identical 6.5 inch woofers sum their outputs across the lowest octaves but they each roll off at a different frequency throughout the midrange, which inherently smoothes response both on-axis and off. Each woofer operates in a slightly different, fully isolated chamber that is vented by way of an appropriately designed port. As a result, the Synchrony One provides unparalleled tonal, spatial, and dynamic accuracy. I have used these speakers with both tubed and SS amps and found that they are highly musical and can generate an awesome soundstage. They also image superbly.
