Up for sale I have a very gently used (essentially brand
new) High Fidelity Cables Magnetic Digital RCA Adapter designed to be installed
at the source end of an S/PDIF digital cable.

I’ve had this for a couple of months and it works very well,
providing exactly the sonic benefits that the reviews and the manufacturer
claim (improved clarity, definition, and space between the instruments - in
other words, better resolution and soundstaging).

Unfortunately, my Bel Canto REFLink has a BNC jack for the
S/PDIF output (not RCA), so having to use an RCA-terminated S/PDIF cable and
attach a low-end RCA-to-BNC adapter to the end of this amazing device to
connect it to my Bel Canto makes little sense. I have thus decided to switch to
just a high-end S/PDIF digital cable with a Furutech BNC connector at the
source end.  This remarkable device was
$189 new in October of this past year from the Cable Company.  I am asking $139 and will cover PayPal fees
and USPS priority shipping in the US.
Check my feedback and buy with confidence.  Thanks for looking!

From the manufacturer: The Magnetic Digital RCA Adapters are
designed to provide a representative "taste" of what their digital
cables can offer with the existing digital cable.  How do they work?   The explanation below is a simplified
version of a complex subject, but the concept should be easy to grasp.  Because of the way that the magnetic
conduction functions, the adapters should be installed and left in place for
12-24 hours before serious listening is done.
The magnetic conduction effect actually conditions the connected
components as well as the interconnects, a phenomenon that lasts for several
hours after the Adapters are removed, so quick A-B comparisons will not give accurate
results.  Once the adapters are removed,
the original cables will perform better than ever - at least until the magnetic
conduction effect diminishes and then disappears completely.

What should you expect?
With the use of the Digital RCA Adapters, you will hear.  The effect(s) are NOT subtle in our
experience.

Where do they work? Any SPDIF Digital cable components will
benefit from the use of the Digital RCA Adapters.

Technical Explanation: The AC (alternating current) power drawn from your wall
produces a magnetic field. This field is actually a series of waves whose
frequencies vary with the electrical signal. Electricity induces magnetism, and
vice versa: the two are inseparable.

From start to end, your audio system is dependent on
magnetism to work. The AC power and magnetic waveform comes into your audio
system, is modulated by your source, amplified through your amplifier, and sent
to the voice coil on the speaker driver. Here it interacts with a permanent
magnet and causes the speaker cone to vibrate and produce music.

Magnetic conduction is a new, patented form of conduction,
implementing specially arranged magnetic fields to concentrate the signal
within the conductor. The electrons of the audio signal have a quantum spin
which gives them their "magnetic moment" or charge. It's this charge
which allows the electrons to react with magnetic fields. So, if we use a
magnetic conductor instead of a regular conductor, we can guide the electrons
(the audio signal) through the conductor in a very precise way to reduce
distortion and signal loss.

High Fidelity Cables uses magnetic conduction technology to
preserve the quality of audio signals and reproduce music more accurately.  Most people think of an audio system as an
electrical device. It would be more accurate to call it a magnetic device.
Electricity powers the components, but it's magnetism that makes the music. It
is a magnetic force that moves your speakers, causing them to vibrate and
create sound.  This magnetism at the end
of your signal path actually begins at your wall outlet, and it is present
throughout your entire system.
