Wright Sound WLA12A tube preamp. You just don't see these anymore because they are "keepers". Hand made, one at a time. Where else do you find tube rectified, 6SN7 tube preamps with this many features: point to point wiring, hi/lo gain switch, Mute, Mono/rev, lots of inputs, dual outputs, iec a/c input for $1K? Forget 12AX7 preamp tubes; I find 6SN7's to have a bigger, more full sound. Plus, this will include choice NOS tubes at my price, including NOS Tung-Sol rectifier & NOS black-plate RCA 6SN7's (else the stock Chinese 6SN7's & rectifier). This unit almost looks brand new. Plus, the balance control has been replaced, now two, quality dual mono volume knobs which enhances the excellent clarity of this Classic Preamp. Now, I will say that these transparent volume controls contribute lots of gain into my 101db. speakers, they are quick to go from soft to loud - you may be better served by my other listed Wright preamp!
