Bryston 4B-SST 2, Dual-Mono, 300 X 2 or 500 x 2 (4 Ohms) Power Amplifier

Audio enthusiasts and recording studios have been enjoying the power and clarity of Bryston amplification for decades.  The 4B has to be the workhorse and quite possibly one of their most popular amps.  Each update makes improvements, some significantly better.  The 4BSST2 is the model just before the current 4B3.  The 4BSST2 is a true dual-mono design.  Looking inside you not only find 2 of everything, there are even 2 toroidal power transformers.  This completely separates the demands of one channel from the other, allowing the amplifier to supply power to where it's needed most.
 
Brystons sound has been described as open, as if there were no amplifier there at all.  It's not just a clean sound, but also very controlled.  The damping factor on the 4BSST2 is 500 @ 20Hz.  This means it is also very controlled.  Not just a burst of power but also the ability to stop sounds like low bass energy and fast transients keeping the music as near to real as possible.
 
This is a lightly used demo unit from our private showroom.  It looks and performs as new.  It's completely repacked back in the factory box with the original cord and manual and will arrive looking new.  The balance of the 20 year, transferable warranty will apply.

Larger and heavier items (over 70 Lbs) may not be able to be delivered to a residential address using Fed-Ex. A commercial address or local Fed-Ex office pick-up may be required. Truck freight is optional and may have increased costs (liftgate, residential fees).
