Monk Audio Germany - Tube Préampli - Le Petit 12AX7 PHONO STAGE MM and MC

Excellent little entry phono-stage - made in Germany by hand from quality parts. Utilizes 2 12AX7 tubes. Three inputs. Switchable between MM and MC. I ran my Denon DL-103 off the Monk and it sounded surprisingly nice. Low noise floor. 
There isn't that much information on this phono-stage out there, but when you do a google-search, you will be able to find some favorable reviews. A few are German language - which you could translate via google-translate:

I ranked the condition 7/10 mostly because the green on-light does not work any more. I never noticed until today when I gave the Monk the once-over for listing it here. There are a few tiny scratches along the edges. See photographs.   
I took shots of the inside to show that the amp is put together beautifully. Comes w/ power cord but no instruction manual. Original price for these was around $1,300 in the USA.

I've upgraded to a 100% tube phono-stage w/ aa A23 step-up transformer for my DL-103. Which sounds better than the little Monk - but not that much better. The Monk is very musical and fun to listen to - a little more forgiving than my new set-up. It's a great entry product for somebody who wants a nicer phono-stage w/ some of the benefits of a tube gain stage - at an entry-level price.
