I also have a PS-1000E transitional version for $870 (brand new) with original box and packing.
Took it out of the box for pictures only.
This
is the same as the PS1000e, except that the chamber and box still print
PS1000; this is production during the early stage of transition from
1000 to 1000e, but the headphone with all the features of ‘e’ version.
