Emotiva BASX A-700

This is a new 7 channel power amplifier. Includes original double box packaging, owner's manual, and IEC power cord.  

This was originally part of a bunch of equipment that I bought to build a new theater. That project was put on hold for quite a while so I decided to sell a few of the items until ready to continue with the project. 

I did remove the amp and test it for a couple hours just to make sure there weren't any issues before listing.    


Overview The BasX A-700 is a seven channel power amplifier that offers true audiophile sound quality at an affordable price. The BasX A-700 includes a carefully chosen set of important features, including a heavy-duty power supply, high-quality Class A/B amplification, transparent audiophile-quality fault protection, a trigger input and output, and industry standard unbalanced audio inputs. Modern manufacturing techniques, and careful design and parts selection, have enabled us to deliver all of this performance and great sound quality in the BasX A-700 at a far lower price than you might imagine.

The BasX A-700 delivers 110 watts RMS per channel at less than 0.1% THD into 8 ohms (two channels driven); THD+N of less than 0.02%; and a signal to noise ratio of 120 dB referenced to full power. This makes the BasX A-700 the ideal amplifier to power a great sounding 7.1 channel surround sound system, a great way to upgrade the power amplifier section of your AVR, and a perfect companion to our MC-700 surround sound processor.

Front Panel Controls and Indicators

• Standby: push button (halo ring changes color to indicate Standby or On).

• Status LEDs: one per channel; blue.
  Status LEDs change to red to indicate a fault condition.

• AC Power switch: rocker switch (switches AC main power).

• Status LEDs switch: disables front panel Status LEDs.

• The BasX A-700 is protected against excessive operating temperature, shorted speaker connections, ground faults, and other common fault conditions.
