Selling a Soundsmith "The Voice" cartridge. I have owned this for a little over a year and it has been outstanding in all aspects. I'm only selling to get an even better Soundsmith model. This cartridge was carefully used in a tobacco free environment, mounted on a Basis turntable and Basis Vector 4 tonearm and has a 2.12 mv output. The stylus was cleaned regularly and one of the pictures gives you a good view of the current condition. Note the serial number on the box was blacked out, but will be visible to the buyer.
The sound of a Moving Iron cartridge is had to describe: it has less moving mass than the moving magnet or moving coil so it is a tight, lean and very clean sound. More is described in the link below:

The asking price is less than 1/2 the list price of $3000 and please note the shipping total is largely a function of the insurance cost.
