This YFS USB cable is a 4 conductor YFS 'Ref' USB cable. USB A - B termination.

I used this cable between my Sonore ultraRendu and my PS Audio DS DAC.

This cable has all 4 conductors because the Direct Stream DAC needed the power lead to identify the USB input receiver. This configuration is what would be considered standard.

YFS makes the “Ref” USB cable and the “Custom” USB cable. This is the “Ref” cable. The YFS custom cable costs much more and uses conductors of your choice that are wound by hand. The Ref is still a very nice cable and sounds better than a lot of cables that cost much more. It is somewhat stiff with a robust “snakeskin”. Highest quality construction.

I could find no marks, fraying, or other anomalies. No returns. As with all cables, YMMV. I thought it improved the sound and left it in my system for the 2 1/2 years that I owned the DS DAC.

I am selling because I sold my DAC. I’m going back to a network streamer with no USB attached devices. You know how that goes in this crazy hobby.
