| The factory has not replaced any unit. This La Scala MkII Optologic unit is of year 2017 and it's NOT brand new! The replacement was handled by the U.S. distributor and he told me that it was a new replacement sent directly from Italy. I just contacted him and apparently they repaired my original unit and because it was sent directly to me from Italy he was never aware they had repaired my unit. Because I only took it out of the shipping box to inspect for damage and to take a picture I was not aware that it was my unit that was repaired. Sorry for the confusion. I have amended the ad. |

| This unit never returned to Italy! As I have said in the ad the unit was sent to the distributor after it failed and I was told by him that he had returned it to Italy for repair. That is what I was told by the distributor. |
