Hello,
up for sale is a limited edition Michell Engineering Odyssey 2004 turntable in pristine condition. Only 100 of these turntables were ever produced, this is No. 70. It comes with a black Michell TecnoArm ‚A‘ tonearm and an installed Dynavector 10X5 high output moving coil cartridge. It has a brand-new drive belt. Including the tonearm and the cartridge, this turntable cost $6800 new.

This beautiful turntable is an homage to John Michell and his engineering excellence, who at the beginning of his career built the Discovery spacecraft for Stanley Kubrick's classic movie '2001 A space Odyssey‘.
Based on the Gyrodec, the Michell Odyssey was produced in an all black finish, with a black acrylic base and the signature weights suspended below the platter being nickel silver rather than the usual gold. The black damped chassis sits on a clear acrylic spider to give a second level of isolation as found on the Orbe. A matching black HR power supply and a black TecnoArm(a) complete the turntable.

This turntable is in excellent condition. After I polished the acrylic cover I give the turntable a 9/10. It was always in a smoke-free, kids-free environment, and it does come with it’s original box. I would ship this turntable, packed securely (I'd put the original box inside a bigger box) and insured it over the selling price, though I would much prefer if the buyer came to test it and picked it up in person. The turntable is located in Brooklyn, NY. Also, I would recommend no-fee payment via Zelle, but if you prefer PayPal, please add 3% to the sale price plus shipping, thank you!

I am new on Audiogon, but you can still buy from me with confidence, I have 100% positive feedback on ebay (mr.graebner)
