I’ve been the audio business for more than 30 years and consider the Cary Audio SLP98 preamp (no phono stage) one of the most musical preamps in the industry regardless of price. I match this preamp with a Cary Audio 200.2 ES power amp with Martin Logan electrostatics 13A, and 2905 quads. the combination was phenomenal with both speakers. I’ve used This preamp with other tubes power amp’s with great success.
